 Bare Apparel Envisioned by Haley and Beau Lewis, a young husband and wife team, in the fall of 2007, Bare Apparel was unveiled on-line in May of 2008. The idea for the company came when the team realized the hassle that designers had to go through in order to get premium quality blank t-shirts and their lack of access to resources for distressing and washing their garments. “In talking to designers, I realized that they didn’t know how to get their shirts washed or grinded.
